Need help I can't charge refrigeranthello i drive w211 e200. after changing the ac compressor and cleaning the evaporator then I will charge the refrigerant but my ac system doesn't work, every time I press the ac button, it flashes and then turns off. the radiator fan didn't work and the compressor didn't seem to be working either. really need help, thanks in advance
If there is no refridgerant in the system, naturally the a/c won't turn on, there has to be pressure in the system. First you need to pull vacuum to the system, then charge the correct amount off refridgerant.
The problem I'm having is that the ac compressor won't turn on and the radiator fan won't turn on either. I have filled the refrigerant after the vacuum is in the engine off, the low and high gauges are at 40 then I turn on the engine and the ac pressure gauge doesn't change and the ac module flashes (ac doesn't turn on).
could my ac problem be related to the solenoid variable compressor ac malfunction? does anyone know how to test solenoid condition? Thank you in advance
