My 2009 E Class Coupe has started to have a mind of its own in the headlight department.
I always leave the headlight switch in Auto.
When I start the car and the headlights are needed the car does the usual 'sweeping' left/right/up/down of the headlights, but stops when they are too high.
After a random time (anywhere from 30 seconds, to 10 minutes, to never) they settle back down to not blinding other people.
Is there a way to reset the lights? Are there any sensors I need to look for?
My guess 09 e coupe = 2010 model ‘207’ outside US market. Check condition of headlamp control unit to both (corrosion, etc.) if fine have someone pull fault codes, no codes both may need to be re-initiated using STAR (MB diagnostics).
