E320 V6 Oil Sensor Leak

2005 E320 gas V6, have what looks like a oil leak from the oil level/temp sensor.

There is a TSB this # P-18-40-29A from 7/2006 but all linked info posted here is not working so I can't get any details.

FCP Euro has the replacement sensor and Pelican has change out instructions BUT I can't find or see any details on how the sensor seals to the pan.

My sensor works fine and I'd just like to fix the leak but I can't find any info on how it seals to the oil pan.

Does it use an O-ring, a gasket, or the same goop in a tube that the oil pan uses to seal to the block with?

Thanks

Just be aware that it may be the actual sensor that is leaking. The sensor can crack and develop a small leak, even though the sensor is working normally. I had a leak down there and replaced just the o-ring sealing the sensor to the oil pan. Filled the car back up with oil and still had a soaked oil sensor at my next oil change. Replaced the sensor with a new one and now there are no more leaks around the oil level sensor. If you do change the o-ring, I would suggest you take a very close look at your oil level sensor.
