Question Help connecting to an old school 30-pin iPod

I have a 2003 E55.

I'm replacing the current COMAND head unit (that has a tape deck):
(pic from another user):

With this:

Many people simply use the AUX capabilities for external music, but I have an old-school 30-pin 60GB iPod Classic that's filled with thousands of songs. (I actually have 3 of them). I'd like to leave it in the glove box to serve tunes.

I don't need BT streaming for tunes. I'm old and listen to the same music all the time, anyway, hahaha. So, I'd like to use OEM MB iPod connector.

Can someone tell me what parts I need to connect the COMAND head unit to the iPod? I know there is a wire connector that is required. I'm unsure about an interface module box. Pics and/or part numbers will be greatly appreciated.
