Thank you for your service...I recommend calling insurance company, and have them send roadside asst. Hope this helps

You have to provide a little more details. If you got the doors open, there are charge points under the hood so you can just attach power there and pop the trunk from inside. They also sell 9v battery adapters for the cigarette lighter, but I believe you have to move one of the fuses so that it's active even with the key off so you can power up the car. You can also buy just the metal key from the dealer so you can access the trunk, much cheaper than the entire fob. Remember to open the trunk with the key, you need to turn it one way and leave it that way and then open the trunk with the handle, it's not like you turn the key and it pops open.

Hope that helps.

You have a large + terminal in the fuse box under the hood from where you can charge the battery.

Here is a step by step guide

https://www.mbworld.org/how-tos/a/mercedes-benz-e-class-and-e-class-amg-how-to-safely-jump-start-your-battery-388061

if the battery is fairly flat/discharged, let it charge a bit first before jumping not to stress the charging system ($$). Recall you can buy one of those boosters, no need for another vehicle.

Advice, get that manual key ASAP. Even if you sort this out w/o it.

Good luck

Take copy of title to the dealer with photo ID and order a replacement metal key to unlock the trunk. The last one I purchased ran me about $80.

Your car may or may not have the jumper connections under the hood; the W211 came in two "flavors" as shown in the Electronic Parts Catalog. Some W211s had the jumper connections under the hood and others did not. I do not know the rhyme or reason but my 2005 W211 E55 does NOT have the jumper connections under the hood. One could jumper to the relay for the auxiliary battery but I personally would not recommend that as you have to pull the cowling and it usually breaks (and the connections are rather small).

Unless your car has the optional "pass-through" you are going to need an oxy-acetylene torch to get through the back seat.

All great ideas, but let road side do the dirty work. How often do you use roadside? Now would be a great time to take advantage of what you're paying for just my opinion.
