Water pool in s211 wagon trunk

There's a large pool of water in my trunk area underneath the spare tire. I'm in the process right now of removing the trim pieces around it to hopefully locate how this got inside. I live in a Pacific Northwest where it rains heavily so I'm unsure if it's the tires kicking up the water somehow. I was in here during the summer and there was no water so this must be due to the recent rains.

Does anyone know where these drains may be located underneath the car or under the liners?

Update, after loosening the rear bottom splash shield just below the trunk area the water started dripping out of the drain hole. It didn't appear to be clogged, it's possible that somehow the splash shield was sitting too high up and pressing on the drain hole preventing the water from draining out. About 3 to 5 gallons of water came out. Just a heads up for anybody else with a wagon living in rainy areas. You may want to check your spare tire compartment and make sure it's not flooded.

The liner at the bottom also prevented some of the water from draining all the way out so I cut two holes on either side to assist with water draining at its lowest point.

I would take a garden hose and start from the top of the tail lights at the roof and run it up and down both lights for a good 15-30 minutes.

There are foam gaskets on the backside of the lights that go bad and let water in and it ends up accumulating in the spare tire well.

Well documented with the sedan guys.
