Removing rear ac vents facelift
Hello,
I've searched the forum but cannot find an answer to my question. My rear vents on the 08 E350 (two zone AC) are broken and I need to take them off to replace them. There are bolts that need to be removed but I cannot remove the plastic that contains the rear storage compartment with the 12V power plug. I do see that there may be a bolt in the back that holds it in but I cannot get to it. I see that on the older design armrest you could access the bolt but I can't figure it out on the facelifted versions. Right now there is a MHI connector and the lining does not seem like it can be easily removed. Does anyone have experience with this?
Thank you!
