Looking for a code reader (2022)
Hi, all. I have a 2003 W211 E55 AMG. I'm looking for a code reader to at least pull detailed codes.
I imagine that discussing code readers has been done a lot. But, products come and go and features change over time. So, what was great 10 years ago may not even be available now. And there may be some new product available in the past few years. There are a lot of code readers out there that swear they do everything. But, my car is nearly 20 years old and it's not clear if they provide the same functionality for such an old car.
As much as I would like to have the full Star system, it just doesn't fit my budget for that and I think it may be overkill for what I need.
Are there any code readers that you've had good success with?
