W211 antenna connector location
Hello!!
So, i have installed aftermarket radio to w211, everything Works well except radio reception..
I have searched everywhere but I can't find info wich connector is FM radio connector?
I have Four fakra connectors, Blue, that should be navi antenna, yellowish, that should be Bluetooth and there are black and Brown ones..does anybody know wich one is FM connector and where to feed 12v to power up antenna amp?
car is 2008 w211

Ha! I thought the radio used the GPS sharkfin antenna at the back of the roof. That antenna connects through a matchbox sized splitter in the left rear wheel well near the left trunk hinge.
But it may just be for GPS.

Hmmm..to my knowledge, radio antena is in rear glass..
but I don't know where antenna amp is located..
I guess that black fakra connector is radio antenna..
I would really appriciate if someone could share location of the antenna amp..

this really helped to locate componnents..
So, FM antenna connector is black one that goes in Becker (in my case) amp located in back of the rear left fender..
There was power to the antenna amplifier, harness that I got had wire to feed 12v to the antenna amp..
I have added this adapter and now everything works just great..
