2007 E320 BlueTec
Smoke coming from engine bay e320

Hi all, recently my 2007 E320 Bluetec has had pale white smoke coming from the front (left) drivers side of the engine bay. Followed with a slight burned diesel smell. This lasts for about 3-5 minutes and so far this has happened 3 times and all while idling in traffic weirdly enough.
There are no warning or engine lights on the dash either and the temperature reading slowing builds but does not exceed 70-80 degrees celsius and there is no light.
Each time I have popped the hood and looked for any signs of burning I see none. My oil, coolant, window washer and transmission fluid are all at a normal level.
Any insight on what this problem could be is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Your engine has black death. One of your injector seals is leaking.

If it is black death, dealing with it sooner than later will be cheaper. Remove the engine covers and have a close look at each injector hole in the valve cover.
