Does side marker and windshield fluid sensor are connected to SAM module?
it is W211 08 E350 4matic.
I did not know it but after a touchless car wash, a side marker error, usually the right one- because of an accident was the front and right fender, popped out until it dries perfectly.
After a few months, I changed the socket because I thought it was coming from a bad seal, but recently I popped the whole assembly, the assembly plastic was cracked inside so some amount of water gets inside there. I can see some water drops on the yellow lens after the car wash.
Also, someone who repaired this vehicle was a pretty lazy guy I think, the hose that is right above the side marker and fog light was cracked so when I top off the windshield fluid it leaked from there, making wires wet.
A few weeks ago, top-up windshield fluid errors start to keep popping up so I changed the fluid level sensor too.
I randomly get check side marker error, usually right one sometimes left one too. I checked and both bulbs are working but found out rarely it blinks like turning on old fluorescent light.
Also, the top-up fluid error keeps popping up, I don't think the sensor has its own fuze, is this any chance of a bad SAM module?
I am not sure both things are connected with SAM. If so those moistures can short the SAM module?
