FIGURED IT OUT* How To Separate Wood Insert From Shift Knob
I got this new shift knob for free, but the wood insert is different from my car. It isn’t wanting to come off easy like in the FCP euro video on YouTube. The one in the video was also from a face lifted car. Is the insert glued in on the pre facelift cars? Any tips on how to separate it?

EDIT* after posting the thread I messed with it some more, stuck a pick in at the bottom and the wood slid right out.
