07 E63 AMG windows, seat and mirrors not working
new here obviously but I need help, 07 e63
issues:
driver side window not working
both rear windows not working
driver seat not working
mirrors not working
passenger front window and seat work perfect. Window only works with passenger side switch
replaced the door control module from eBay, it was used. I have checked all the fuses in the dash driver side. Checked at the bottom right plug on the module and is getting 12v and ground.
My first Benz it was given to me. I can’t drive it to the dealer cuz it’s all the way up and forward. Tech savvy but need some guidence
please and thank you.

Post in the W211 AMG sub-forum and you will find the gearheads.
this was my brother in law car he bought 1 year ago, with suspension codes, check engine light, all the problems listed above. he literally gave me the car cuz he bought a new car and only thing he did was made it worse ( hes 18 and thought he would buy it to "flex" on his buddies)

A few weeks ago, sisters's 2008 E350 was having windows issues: none worked from the drivers side, only the passenger side worked from its own switch. Do not recall testing the seats at all. --> Error code indicating it could not communicate with the window master switch (driver side).. Bought a generic one from Amazon @$40, installed it and all windows are working. I disassembled the old one, and besides some "moisture present" I could not tell why it was failing. One thing though it was dirty between the keys, so it accumulates dirt plus likely spills, or else.
If that is your case, and decide to buy one check it is the same trim as yours: either silver or black.
Forgot to mention you need a tiny L-Torx key to get the master switch out of the door panel and patience to get it out w/o breaking anything. Similar to https://www.autozone.com/test-scan-a...ece/607059_0_0
These cars with 15+ years on the clock are brittle.

will the icarsoft v2.0 work for just checking and erasing the codes? or should i buck up (pun intended) and get it to the dealer or equivalent to have this checked out? is it worth seeing if it needs to be updated? im not a fan of the dealerships but it is what it is

I summarized my experience installing Xentry (after following the original post), and I also have the iCarSoft scanner. I thought it was great, but having Xentry is something else. To me, the cost has been about the same because I already had a spare laptop.
Separately, be careful with compressed air and not blowing small wires (thermistors), or over spinning mini fans (overhead control panel) etc. These cars are princesses in disguise, but a lot of fun to drive

then it’s on to the suspension problems. I’ll repost with an update as soon as I get one.
thank you all for the input it’s been very helpful. More than the buttheads on the Honda S2000 forums when I had mine

keep in mind I didn’t take the OE out of the door panel yet. So I unplugged the window switch, plugged in the seat switch to the door control module. The dam seats work, unplug the seat and plug in the mirror, NO MIRROR. I plugged all three in and nothing works.
it appears the mirror switch is faulty. And I’m this case was short circuiting the other components.
long story long, and 100$ bucks down. The seats and the windows are working.
thanks a lot everyone for the input. It is much appreciated!!

If you can connect to an MB diagnostic tool, it should say if the MIRROR circuit is faulty or not. Hopefully, it is downstream, i.e. in the mirror, not the module itself. You may have to disassemble the mirror and try to isolate the short.
