W211 E350
2007 E350 headlight replacement

Hello!

I have a 2007 E350 and everything has been going great but the passenger headlight is out and both are extremely scratched and yellowed. I know this is a common issue with the w211 generation and was wondering if anyone had recommendations on what to do.

I've been looking around and I've found several options on places like amazon and pelican parts but idk where I should be looking

Thanks for the help!

Replacement lenses can be ordered on ebay, Amazon etc. Remove the bumber, remove the assemblies, warm them up to release the butyl sealant, swap lenses and reassemble. You could always replace the whole assembly but that is $$$. You could always upgrade the projectors to a high-performance, high quality bi-xenon HID. I have both of my W211's retrofitted to the EvoX-R

Thanks, I'm planning on taking it to my guy soon to see what he says. I've already replaced that bulb and its out again, something about the adhesive on the connector failing.

I am getting ready to install evox-r on my w211. Have you had any issues with them? Any additional harnesses needed for the projectors to work?

Do you have factory halogen or bi xenon?

there are a few ways for both options. Either way you go, make sure to retain the factory halogen high beams as well. They work amazingly well together!

You could always just swap the lense covers. There are also a few top ranked kits to sand and seal the old headlights.

From the factory I have bi-xenon system.
Factory high beams... Aren't the highness are integrated in the projector design, as there is a flap that is moved out of the way for high beams?
I don't think high beams are halogen in bi-xenon. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

unfortunately, I'm way past that. I've opened up one of the headlights and this happened: all of the wires have dried up and became extremely brittle. Any kind of movement to the wires made the covering flake off. See below.

It's both. The shutter moves for the bixenons for the high beams, but in a flash to pass situation, it's too slow so you also have high beams that are also halogen.
