Some might have seen my post about converting my non-sport rear bumper to a sport (W211 facelift). Well that's looking more complex than I previously thought and also may not fit with my trailer hitch, so now I'm just going to replace it with the standard non-sport bumper. I see MB sells the part for around 900 bucks, unpainted, plus a couple hundred more for chrome strip. In the end it would be almost 2 grand for parts and painting. Given that it was a friend that backed into the car, I'm not enthusiastic about asking him for that much and would not like to invoke my insurance. I've checked on ebay and yards, and there's a ton of used ones, but they're all already beat up.

So long story short, I'm looking for any recommendations on where to get a decent quality aftermarket, either painted or unpainted. Any suggestions are appreciated!
