Post S211 Automatic rear-end door

Hello guys,i have a problem with my el. - rear-end door ,


left -there is a lot of clearance
right - a lot of recline
lock working good and
Vacuum too.
Do you know how to Regulation trunk

This place is a joke.
This is normal. Every s211 I've seen, including the one I owned had a larger gap on the left. I believe it's a design flaw where the strut that opens it is on the left side thus causing uneven force. I tried adjusting it for hours with the same result. Look online for pictures you'll see the same problem.

Yup, mine is exactly the same. It's a design flaw. The more you use it the worse it gets.

The tolerances don't matter. The whole tailgate gets twisted because the Pistons only pushing on one side.

Thanks for the link, I spent hours doing this process, over and over. The best I could get was for the right side to stop scraping the paint off.
