2008 E550 125k what are my risks?

Have not seen the car yet or had a PPI done (would certainly do if I pursued).

On the plus side the last owner has had the car for 12+ years and has service records.
On the minus side the car was in 2 accidents, 1 of which was deemed 'moderate'. Appears to have been fixed professionally as it isn't obvious to me and I can almost always tell.

Familiar with M273 intake manifold issues. The VIN on this car (really engine number) has updated idler gear.

I know the air suspension issues and with 4 struts/shocks + 2 air springs + compressor + block can be expensive.

What else should I look out for?

Thanks

Well it's really maintenance items, motor mounts, pulleys/tensioners, sway bar links, cv joints, upper/lower control arms, ball joints, bushings, tie rods, etc. Some other stuff to look out for will throw a code so you should have it scanned to make sure there's no pending codes. If it has keyless go, make sure all the door handles work, they also go when the buttons get corroded, make sure each one locks and unlocks.

A car of that age will have accidents, mine has been in a couple and that's just normal for city driving.

Heater control valve, air struts and bags, as well as compressor. Keyless go handles can and will go bad. I've replaced them about 3 times in my 8 years of ownership. I refuse to put anymore on so as they fail, I just deal with it. Ball joints, tie rod ends, sway bar links are all common failure points. Motor mounts as well. Alternator voltage regulator. Basically everything listed above is spot on.
