Drive Dynamic Seat help!
Hello. My 2006 E55 AMG has the Drive Dynamic Seat option however it has never worked since I got the car. When scanning for codes I get 9250 Pressure build-up not possible due to a leak & 9260 No or insufficient pressure supply.
I have a local independent shop in my area that can replace the Air Bladders in the seat. However, we need to know how many air bladders are in the seat before ordering parts and beginning the work.
Has anyone done this job before and know how many Air Bladders are in each seat for an E55 with the Drive Dynamic messaging seat function?

Could be the lines or the pump.

On mine, it was the bladders. They are simple bags that get hard and then split and leak. Ask your parts guy at the MB dealer about replacing them as he will know how many there are and how to get them. For me, they weren’t in stock in Germany and I had to get them from another dealer in Texas or California.
I recall about three in each seat back and recommend replacing all of them since it is such a pain to get at one (disassembly of components and air bag) and the others are right there when you do. I think there are two more in the seat bottom but I’ve not replaced them yet.
It is great when they work.
