Separated at Birth!!!
I mistakenly tried to get into the Kia Amanti after work yesterday. I tugged on the handle for three minutes, thinking my Keyless Go was on the blink. After a call to Teleaid, MB was able to sound the horn on my E500 so that I could differentiate the two twins. I am going to have to park on the other side of the building from now on. UGH!

Mercedes had a huge share in Hyundai and I believe one of their designers went over there to spruce up thier image.. This is the reason they look like Benz's. I also read that now, Mercedes is pulling thier investment in Hyundai.

I agree that they look similar and I am sure he was joking (he has a E500 and an SL55 so you would think that he has to have some kind of intelligence to pull down these cars...).
It is so funny that Kia copies so closely. What is funnier is when I pulled up to a light last week to one of these cheap knock off's. I looked over to the owner and it was almost like he held his head in shame because he knew his was a wannbe... It was great

Don't feel so bad. The other day it was raining hard, I ran into the parking lot, tried to open my door, it would not open. Keyless entry must not be working, so I took the key out and insert the key into the keyhole. The key would not even fit. Damn!! What is going on?? I peek inside the car, it seemed someone had put some books in my front seat. I tried to use the panic button, the car next to it went off. And, I just realized, all this time I was trying to open the door of a brilliant silver Lexus.
