Engine Noise
I am fairly sceptical about this and was wondering if anyone else had encountered this problem. I have also heard through another forum that it may be down to the cats breaking down when they get hot which could make sense as it only makes the noise when the engine has warmed up.
Any help/advice appreciated.

To cut a very long story short I once owned a Mercedes-Benz with a terrible vibration. The dealership requested that an engineer come down from Mercedes-Benz UK and look at the engine.
The engineer attached his computer to the vehicle and I'm sure it must have told him the name of the miner that dug out the ore to make the engine!!! They can tell you the compression of each cylinder, exhaust pressures.. you name it the printout will show it.
Your car is still under warranty, providing that noise is there for them to hear, then it is down to them to rectify it.
Good luck, and if possible any chance of keeping us informed.

Is it a "whoooshing" noise that is in tune with the rpms?, somewhat like a diesel engine (not a the knocking noise of a diesel, but the whoosh noise)?? does it whine down when you decelrate?
Let me know , i had that with my old 430 - they had to replace the top half of the engine. New Cams, valves and lifters.
