Key fob check
When I check the ifared thru my camera I see the purple light when I push the buttons but the purple light flashes purple then a red light flashes right beside it does that mean anything bc key fob won’t turn in ignition

It's either an EIS problem with the ignition system or a key problem. Try the second key. If you have the same issue, it's EIS, if it works, it's the key. If you don't have a second key, standard MB diagnostic is to order the 2nd key. It'd be a waste to take the EIS out and send it out to be rebuilt just for it to turn out to be a bad key. You could call around to different locksmiths for a key price. Some are cheaper than the MB dealer, some actually charge more.
