Thumbs up s211 build

Time has come to start with the s211 build.
E63 front bumper is getting sanded and prepped for paint
forged carbon front grill is almost done (using a stock one in the time being)
Forged steering wheel going in tomorrow/friday

current project: slowly 3D scanning the entire car: plan on designing a few parts: wagon hatch spoiler, diffuser, side view mirror (covers), front lip this will be a year long project as i am 3d printing the molds for these
diffuser will take alot of tinkering as i do tow my jetski with this car so need to retain that.

plan on doing the interior trim as well but need to figure out how the trim door and dash pieces come out (any help here is appriciated)

waiting for my air compressor and a few other things to come in before repainting the car alabaster white.

will be updating this thread as things progress

Very interesting. I have always wanted a different hatch spoiler but no one makes them except Lorinser. The trim is fairly easy to remove as I have wrapped all of mine and no problem with the re-install. Also, I work in CAD and have a 3D printer as well but how are you scanning the car?

I have a hand held 3D scanner, already did my Passat, designing the spoiler for that then moving onto my wagon
