Hey everyone I have a 2006 e350 and it won’t start with the key but I can Hotwire the starter wire and it will start. Also have this code P2806 not sure where to start any help will be appreciated

If the key turns, and it seems normal but no crank. It is possible the "drive authorization " has not completed.

For example the vehicle does not recognize to be in P, or N. Try rebooting the computers by disconnecting all batteries, or use Xentry/MB aware scanner to get a more specific message.
