This is my only real complaint about the car, and I will be very happy to have it corrected. Glad to hear it's only a software issue.

You are right; we removed this functionality in the current E-class system. As we don't want our customers to 'take the eyes off the road' as you put it, we have already decided to reprogram this software of the systems. The scanning of radio station presets will be allowed again just as you suggested. Unfortunately, we do not know yet a fixed date when the change will be effective. As soon as the new software is available your dealership will get in touch with you.
Have patience, I’ll do my best to get to the bottom of this just as I did with the 03 footwell ambient light matter.

It would be nice to set it to either or.. I do sometimes like being able to scan through all the stations on the wheel.. Gives me something to do, it is kinda like having the remote at home.
