Pierburg Fuel Pump without Fuel Pressure Sensor - E300 4MATIC

2008 - E300 4MATIC - CANADA
VIN: WDBUF92X58B225530

Back Story: Cranking but no start issue

- New Bosch spark plugs
- New NGK coils
- New Crank Sensor
- No fuses blown (trunk SAM, battery fuses, engine fuses, passenger foot fuses)
- New Trunk fuel relay
- No codes being shown, but I had misfire in cylinder 6 before it died.
- Zero fuel squirting from fuel rail, but I was able to start the car by adding 1/2 cup fuel to throttle body.

So my question is this, I ordered the below fuel pump duo from Rockauto and this is what I received. Do I need to return it and get one with a sensor already attached?

Pierburg Fuel Pump without Fuel Pressure Sensor - CAD $ 121.74 +tax
702701720
7.02701.72.0

Pierburg Fuel Sending Unit - CAD $ 184.81 +tax
702701710
7.02701.71.0

Do I need to drill a hole in the fuel pressure sensor location?

No mention of pressure sensor.

No mention of pressure sensor.

2008 E300 4MATIC - CANADA NOT PZEV

Can I remove the sensor and attach it to my new sending unit? If so how to remove it without breaking?

Again, should I return them both and get a unit with pressure sensor attached? Or do I just drill a hole in the fuel pressure sensor location, not sure if i have to glue it into that sensor hole in the end?

I returned both of them and then I found this video on the same part. Its a great installation video showing you inside the tank on how to route the pipes.

Hi, @syndk8, did you order the correct part in the first place?
Any idea whether the sensor needs to be installed or the sender unit can run just fine without the pressure sensor? From the photo, it doesn't seem to be possible to install the sensor as the design/location is different compared to the original part. Thanks.
