Anybody running 275's with 18x9.5 in the rear of an E320/W211?? Pics please!!!

So I just got a new set of 18 inch wheels staggered 8.5/9.5 and I am trying to decide on the tires. I like square or meaty, not streched. Thinking about going with 245/40 front and 275/35 rear. Does anybody run this setup? Pics are greatly appreciated.

That's the exact setup I run in the summer, on SL55 wheels. They're Michelin Pilot Sport AS3+, 245/40/18 F 275/35/18 R. Not sure what kind of wheels you have, but the SL wheels have a lower offset than the W211 wheels so they stick out a bit more and fit more flush with the fender. The rear with a 275 looks deceptive in pictures, but the entire tire is contained within the wheel well. I'm not sure you could go any wider on these particular wheels though without having the tire stick out a bit.

I also chose to install OEM mud flaps on the front to minimize the risk of stone chips in the paint with the more aggressive fitment of these wheels, makes a big difference in the winter as well even with the stock wheels.

That looks nice!!
So the wheels I got are from an SL500, 8.5ET25 F /9.5ET28 R, so I guess I will go with those size tires, thanks!

Wow, those offsets are even more aggressive. They sound like CLS offsets rather than an SL. Mine are ET30 front, ET33 rear.

Some over in the AMG forum say they'll work, others have minor rubbing in the rear (but they're also running 285s and are lowered). Stock ride height and 275s should be ok.

On CLS550 wheels. I didn't choose the size It came as a packag with nearly new tires. Clearance is more of an issue in the front than the back. I had to roll the front fenders.

And for comparison, my E320 wagon and my friends E500 sedan on stock 211 wheels with 245 front 265 rear tires. He had 10mm spacers.

So I finally put the wheels on my E320. I went with 255/40 front and 285/35 rear. No rubbing. Here are the pics, hope you like:

What spacers are you using and the length of the wheel bolts?
I have a set of WALD wheels 18x8 front and 18X9 rear , 35 mm offset. I got them cheap so hopefully I can make them work.
