Hey all, quick question. The other day when leaving for the airport my 08 E350 4matic wouldn’t start. Eventually it started and ran super rough and had such a firm brake pedal you couldn’t push the pedal or stop. Needless to say I couldn’t drive it. I’ll be back in a couple days and Im wondering if anyone has seen this before or there’s a common issue. Of course I assume a brake booster vacuum hose is ruptured or similar but a quick search before my flight didn’t really show anything obvious. I’m hoping for some insight to help me get back up running once I make it home. Any help is appreciated folks! Thank you.

Does sound like a vacuum leak, pull off the hose on the brake booster and put your finger over the hose and see if there is vacuum.
