mp3 menu choice in '05 comand?

hi,
manual shows illustration of comand screen with 'mp3' as choice , along with radio and cdc. i assume this represents the indash single-cd slot.
my car has 'cd' on screen, not 'mp3' . does this mean i dont have full MP3 functionality?
i have burned cd-r discs of mp3 files with a phatnoise music manager (i have that in wife's bimmer). these seem to play ok and files are mp3 format.
is there a setting in the 357 menu to address this maybe?

The 357 trick does not apply to your car. The MP3 soft button will appear after you actually insert an MP3 disc. Hope that helps.

I used Adaptec Easy CD Creator 4.0 to create a MP3-CD. I made a data CD with the MP3s organized in folders. It seems to work well in the E-class. The MP3 soft keys appear when the disc is inserted. Hopefully, it will work in the SL too.
