Help!!!! cant find my fuel pump only one access and the regulator

It would appear that you have a Partial Zero Emission Vehicle (PZEV) fuel tank (option 917 on your car's build sheet, which you can lookup by your car's VIN or have your dealership look it up)... If that is the case, then, yes, you will need to drop the tank... There is a member of this forum, Westlotorn (Mark), who documented his own custom method of replacing the fuel pump in his car's PZEV tank, but it is quite involved... The actual running commentary and documentation, including photos, on his project took place on the BenzWorld forum (his user name there is West).
