Visit workshop (Battery)

Sorry for the scuffed post I don't really use forums you could say its my first time but. I own a 2005 E220 and it has been working well for 8000 km (since i got it now it has 379k km) but then suddenly i got a message saying convenience functions not available and after that visit workshop with the battery icon.
I checked and the front battery was bad but the rear one was okay. I changed the front one. This did not fix the problem. After that i changed the BCM ... still did not fix the problem.. The batteries are charging and are holding the 12v .. The interior lights dont work, air conditioning, the 12v outlet. Yesterday my instrument cluster died aswell... Il be changing it but any help on how to fix the convenience functions not available and visit workshop? Thanks. Also sorry again if this post is horrible. Just gotta get good at it haha.

You need to know if the charging system works properly. It should be running at about 14.1-14.2v when the engine is running. The main battery should hold about 12.6-12.7v when the car is shut off. I had parasitic drain issues and changed a lot of things to resolve the issue, but also as part of maintenance.

Things you can consider: the AUX battery relay in the front. This solved an issue for me with the AUX battery not being charged properly > https://mbworld.org/forums/c219/8443...ml#post8888552

Also see this document to understand how the dual battery system works: https://mbworld.org/forums/attachmen...ery_system.pdf

Thanks. Il see. I had a message pop up before saying my rear left plate light was out (which it was) and before that everything worked fine. I ignored the message and didnt change the light (still didnt) and after that it just kinda went downhill. I read something about draining too so il have a look. Thanks. Il check it out if the people wont figure something out since i sent the car away and dont know when il get it back. Just a diagnostic for now.
