Hi can someone advise me how I can sync my boot to open via Central locking as at the moment I can only open it either by the key or by the release button in door my car is 2005 E320

Because all the doors including the boot would unlock when opened via fob but since I had a flat battery the boot no longer unlocks at the same time as unlocking central locking I only can open it no via door release button or key

You have to normalize it after a power cut (same as with the sunroof), this can be done using a computer (star/xentry, or something like Autel). Worth a double check: check if the cables along the boot hinge are still intact and not broken (as they all do eventually).

My 2008 W211 boot can only be opened by physical key, neither the door button or boot hand lever or fob button works
Could it be fuse ? where is it located ?
or something else to check

Check wiring around the hinges.

My '04 E320 Sport's negative battery cable came loose, car dead. After re-connecting the cable, boot/trunk remote was dead, both door button and key fob. Also had sunroof probs which are easy to reset.

Fuses all good, etc. THEN, about 12 days later, the trunk remote worked, miraculously, and is fine.

It's because of the Benz gods, whom I must have upset at some point, no?

Everything on my E320 works correctly except that on occasion, I can’t get the trunk to release with the pull lever. It works with the key fob and with the metal key. It mostly works with the pull lever, just not always.

Where might I search for a cause?
