Replace rotors at 27k miles sound right?
Anyone else experience rotor wear so early?
Good news is that the job should not cost too much (especially if you could do it yourself and still deactivate the SBC), and if the dealer tries to tell you it is over $1000, tell him that is way ridiculous. A lot lower than $1000 is where it should be (I don't know the cost of the parts for your particular car so I can't estimate, but the labor should be under two hours--maybe some of the others have already had brakes done and know the parts cost).
