2003 E320 Android Radio Install - No Power to the Radio
I've been attempting to upgrade the radio in my Mercedes Benz 2003 W211 E320 as the old one wasn't actually working when i bought the car.
I assume the issue with the old radio is the disc drive as the logo comes on, you can hear the disc drive trying to do something and then the radio shuts off.
As such i decided to purchase this radio from Ebay as it stated it was compatible with my car and i saw a video of it actually working on YouTube:
Upon receiving the radio i attempted to install it, however it seems the connection cords they sent me are not the same as the instructions images they provided.
The Actual cords i received (this image is from the ebay listing):
Model C being the 3rd cord from the Left, however in the instruction image it looks completely different, so for some very odd reason the company provided me with either an old version of their instructions or the wrong instructions and even when i asked them to update the image for the correct cords, they just kept sending me the same image over and over again, which was not helpful at all.
According to the company the Green wire is the one that provides power to the radio unit, however there is nowhere to plug the Green wire into, so i have been unable to get power to the radio. I even attempted to plug the Green wire into the port under the passenger glove box but it does not fit, as it has a different end.

Conclusion:
As you can see i am using the version C of the cords since that's what fits with my car and the end for the Green wire for the version C clearly is not flat like the unlabeled version, so it will not fit in the port under the passenger glove box.
At this point i am stumped, i have no idea how to get power to this radio and no matter what combination of wires i attempt to use, i can't get it to work.
Has anyone attempted to install this type of radio in their Mercedes Benz 2003 W211 E320 or has an idea of what the problem could possibly be? I would be greatly appreciative for any insight, thank you!

I have 04 e320 was pretty close to yours but in my version was xtrons radio it looked like a combination of them either way I did a complete install speakers amps the hole 9 yards and took me forever in mine nothing was plug and play had the Harmon in their so I used the fiber converter at first the green wires are for your steering controls and to tell you what door is open etc. i am a little confused what your asking now you can run them to the canbus hub and t tap in just extend the wires if you have too. I will help you just let me know exact questions

And i specifically asked where to plug the green cord into, as it's crucial to the function of the radio.

okay i had 3 radios i i stalled on w211 all three green and green with black stripe canbus i could be mistaken so what is the problem exactly? Yellow constant red acc best cig lighter black ground goes to brown that the main connection now when I used fiber I had same the same connection apply to have proper sound fiber says aux plug them to your front r and l that takes care of that now all that left is your canbus high and low which in your case ypu say they are nor the green wires look at your pins what pin our they? They may have used different colors i font think so but possible can't go wrong with number pin and it will tell you. Anyway on w211 under glove is canbus hub with open port to connect or you can t them does not matter which ones you will know it is working by leaving a door ajar and if it tells you ypu are correct it's that simple. Or another way even easier is they make a 5mlong cable that connect to amp in boot all the way to head unit done deal. So what exactly is going on my friend? I looked at everywhere and they all are same basic harness for everyw211 red yellow constant. Brown ground. Red best to use cig lighter tap in reason is under your hood that cig lighter can be moved over one slot the fuse so it can be constant or only go on when car is in position 2 or on so that is best acc for that vehicle. So I know you say they told you green I see the extention. So I an trying to help you you do understand that correct? Okay so what exactly is going on? I have taken my w212 04 e320 stereo to next level ypu can't get any more options then I have installed I did the fiber box but I was not happy even though I had it installed correctly I took every wire every speaker and the bs sub in rear deck out I took the harmen out of the boot on drivers side wall out all the voice module GPS module Tele aid module antenna module out and pit real 2024 tech in it. So if you tell me what is going on I tell you the answer because if you were so right about the manufacturer you would not be on here asking for help can you under stand that? You do t have power because you and the company is wrong the red with yellow stripe is constant and acc red wire needs to be spiced to cig lighter and brown is ground you now will ha e power but no sound hook up the converter same way aux l aux r on convertor go to front l and front r will not have fader from front to back though that the price of the convertor next canbus wires which I explained once you see I am correct ypu and thay company can thank me I am looking right at the connections in your pics bro. I had to splice my constant and ground I believe because in 04 w222 e320 that is the way but yup let me know I have more pics If ypu like

I just red the instructions they gave you clearly pics and all green wires going right to can h and can l hub. That's is not power like I said red yellow constant 12v red acc it tells you clearly to find acc source cig lighter is best I found and brown ground. Maybe get volt meter and go to a shop if this is not clear

Is thay crucial enough for ypu or shall i add more pics of mine working 100 percent they were clear i see in instructions ypu should go to installer my friend also the videos that ypu choose on ypu tube are prob the worst ones the one is all plug and play ypu dont have that brand readio the others well as ypu see check out panzar w211 mercedes and he explains good look at mine as well ypu tube i have videos from install to how to code your car with xentry still learning how to film.basic stereo
