A new stereo and bi-xenons?
I have a 5 month old E320 4matic. I am thinking of upgrading the stereo system and getting bi-xenons. How easy or difficult is this to get done? Is the dealer the best place or would that be a rip-off? Would this affect the car's warranty? How much would the headlights cost? Any recommendations for the stereo make and model to buy?

I have a 04 4Matic, I already got the Bi-xenons retrofitted. Very much worth it!! The two complete headlights were about $1200 and the installation was done at the dealers for just under $300. I recommend that you have the dealer do it since it requires removing the bumper and changing the computer setting. If you don't change the computer setting, it will say that your light are burned out since the new Bi-Xenons use only 35W instead of 55W. Also, the daytime running lights are dimmed if you have the regular bulbs; you can not really dim Xenon.
I STRONGLY RECOMMEND AGAINST CHANGING THE STEREO!!!!!! Tons of reasons here, also was posted a while back on a thread. Not a good idea!
I hope this helps,
Steve
