I want to know if doing an engine flush will make my noisey lifters to stop making the ticking sound and the burning smell to go away. The motor was starved of oil temporarily but not very long. If I do the engine flush myself what should I use to do it. On most cars I’ve seen people use a mix of motor oil and transmission fluid. Can use this method for the m113 engine?
