2006 e500 shuts off

2006 e500 shuts off
I got a used e500 an i'm starting to get use to it.It's got 188,000 miles on it and i've started to get the bugs out of it .I noticed that sometimes when i come to a sudden stop it will cut off or buck like a bull.I read tht it could be low on trans fliud or have conductor plate issues.I'm going to change the engine oil and service the gear box.I'm also going to give it a new set of eyes because the previous owner used those aftermarket led lights and cut up the original wiring inside the original light fixture.If new trans fluid doesn't cure the bucking what should i do .any help in this matterr would be great.

On my list as additional items would be check your fuel pressure, battery and alternator to make sure all your diagnosis has a solid commencing point. And change out your fuel filter (not sure if your model has a readily changeable one).
