RE: Electro-E

I don't care who your source it. Can you get me one? I'll buy for $1250 for the AMG kit (assuming they are genuine, non-replica).

Same here! $1250 for another kit. Now you just made yourself 1/2 of your kit. I'm sure you will make yourself a full FREE kit soon :-)

Thanks!

so you'll take advice from the forum, but when someone asks you a question you say "why would I tell you?"

anyway, unless its stolen or maybe you have some crazy inside connection, its most likely fiberglass for $1K so let's not get all excited.

hahahhaha!

Step 1. Mount kit by body shop (not pre-drilled for better fit)
Step 2. Paint Kit (does not come pre-primered)
Step 3. Car Looks Better than Ever!

doesnt come drilled, doesnt come primmed... so for a $960 you can make your $50k car look like crap!

Isn't it interesting how some people buy a high-quality car and pay for it (well, I mean this loose terms). Then they try to make it look special but become really cheap and want to save a few bucks here and there (all of a sudden). Then their car looks like a fake MB, like a Hyundai with a sports kit. How ironic

Excuse my ignorance, but what is the difference, besides not being"OEM," between the replica kit and the AMG kit? Is the AMG kit not fiberglass as well? If not what is it made of? For the cost difference, can it really be that bad?

Big difference between authentic and fake. A friend of mine bought the fake kit for only $800, when they installed it, they ran into tons of problems getting it to fit because there are also reinforcements in the bumper, the fog lights, the grill and other things that need to be worked out to get the bumper in the right place to screw it together. Once they finished on the first day he had it, he accidentially stepped on the sideskirt lightly(since the AMG skirts kinda sticks out abit) when he stepped out of the driver seat and the kit broke. Fiberglass is not flexable so it breaks very easily. It was really bad and the kit did not fit well(at high speeds it seemed like it could fly off). The authentic bumpers are poly(something) and are able to take on 5mph hits. I'd say their 3 or more times stronger to take a hit then fiberglass. And it's made for the car so it fits perfect. If your going to spend hundreds of dollars, get the real thing.

I only wished I had bought the AMG kit a year ago when it was only $2600, it's now almost $4k w/o including tax!

Whichever one is available (1 of 5)
Hook me up. I will buy TWO sets for $1,100 each, that's $200 profit for doing nothing.

You people are pathetic, I ask for some suggestions, and everyone here expects me to give them almost free AMG parts...

Noone here is going to get anything from me or the people I know, and if it is going to cost me your Great Knowledge on Benzes, so be it...

Well, gosh, before things get any uglier, let me possibly bypass this unpleasant discussion of authentic versus fake body kits by suggesting an alternative disposition for the $6,000 in sports-bet winnings:

http://www.unitedwayla.com/pages/how...howtogive.html

Normally, I wouldn't have the colossal gall to suggest that somebody should consider giving the $6,000 to those in need instead of spending it to hang nonfunctional fiberglass dreck on their car, but since it's the holiday season and all ....

And yes, I do put my money where my mouth is.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I am not that wealthy to give $6 grand to someone I don't even know...but I respect you for doing something like that, it's amazing...

If you indeed had a "connection" for REAL AMG kits then you would be selling them for a profit on this board.... at least I would.
If it were me I wouldnt dangle deals unless I could share them, all it does is start a flame war.

First off I'm not buying a piece of **** replica part.

2nd off, this source is a family friend, and I'm not in it to make money off of him, he is just hooking me up once on anything I need.

hook ups

i think the guy that is giving you the "free" 20" LM5's should know how to dress a W211 the proper way.

the 1k for the AMG kit sounds too good to be true, check with the 20" LM5 guy as he should know pricing on stuff like this.

why didn't you just say that from the jump, instead of going "why should I tell you who my source is..." its not a big deal if you can't hook everyone up with your dream prices, but you don't have to be a d*ck about it

Agreed, this is a community, benz owners helping and sharing info. It does not hurt you to help other people. That is what this and other forums like it are supposed to be for. If someone asks me how much I paid for my rims and ask me where I got such a good deal, I tell them. I dont take pleasure in watching them pay $400 more than I did....that just does not make any sense.

what is the best aftermarket company in this industry and why?
Right now i would say FABULOUS, LORINSER, WALD AND PRODUCE JUNCTION. they make the best quality and look for a Vip Style car

Im not sure how much this would cost me but i say around the 8 to 10 grand I am planing on purchasing a E CLASS in the month of february or March and will be purchasing Airruner suspension to be drop on a new set of rims by IFOREGED. Anyone down with vip? Post up some pics for suggestion

Check out the picture below. Here is my plan

FULL KIT (3 PIECE SET)
FRP $2,100.00

Air Ride Bag Suspension Kit
$1,965.10

wald body kit-

rims - $2,500
