What can I do to my car with $6,000 to spend? 2004 Bone Stock E320

Hey guys, I've recently won some money on sports bets and I have put aside 6 grand for the car...

I don't want any engine upgrades or anything to make my car faster or handle better, just looks.

What kind of full kits can I get for my Black 2004 W211?
I have a hook on rims giving me 20 inch Lorinser LM5's for free, so I'm set there...

What kits can I get? What wings can I get for the trunk and the roof?
Can you guys post pics if possible of what you are talking about looks like, and a price as to how much it costs. Don't include any painting/installing charges because it will be done for free. So I just need to know how much the actual item will be...

Thanks a lot guys, it's going to feel good to actually have some mods like 90% of the board.

i personally would do the AMG or Brabus kit. I prefer AMG but I am sure in so cal there are tons of E-classes with the AMG kit.

I know that it is nice to buy nice stuff for a great car . . BUT:

I don't want to sound like the conservative old fart, but if you did not lease the car and still owe money on it, then pay it down or off

It sounds like you are a real gambler; this would mean that having equity in your car might be a smart thing to have. You can get a loan against it, in a pinch, before Tony Soprano comes to collect the cash. This is just me talking out of my ***, I don't mean to preach. But you asked, so I suggested.

It is nice to have a clear title sitting in the safety deposit box. Plus, when you sell it or trade it in, the new car's price does not hurt as much.

IMO, dont rice your mb out with Lorinser. Ugly. Get brabus, Carlsson, etc. Id get Carlsson because it looks great and no one has it. Probably what I will end up with. AMG looks the best, but you will pay for it, and also you will look very much the same as the rest. I'd say lower your car, get wheels (looks like thats taken care of) then get some tasteful bodywork done. No rear spoilers, maybe a small rear deck lip, etc.

wut up man? we gotta start up a lakers thread man. Okay so here we go. This is what you get man...i personaly don't like mixing and matching brabus and lorinser. So if you got the hook on the lorinsers then id go with some carlsson body kit however on a black car the brabus does look sick. Dunno much about pricing. Also if i were you i'd get some 19's instead of the 20's. the 20's will make for a rougher ride and the 19's will deffinatly fit the car better. Just my .2 cents. here's the brabus kit. its not a good pic but u can get the idea.

that car looks pretty siiick, I think its the AMG sports package with the carlsson add-on lip on the front... you should be able to make your car look like that for 6K no problem (but not the ultra-light wheels, those are like 8K alone I think)

Swap in a Euro Command for DVD & MP3 compatiblity if you haven't done so already. Then get a Carlsson, Brabus, or Wald body kit! Maybe change to the Euro bumper strips as well? CL Grill?

I think I'm going to go with the AMG Kit...
$2,900 plus some exhaust tips which are like $300 or something, I'll spend the rest of the money on TV's and stuff inside.

About a year ago the AMG kit was about 3k minus exhuast. Due to the euro dollar increasing it's now:

$1600 for the front bumper with grills and fogs
$1000 for two sideskirts
$1300 for the rear bumper for qaud tips
$2000 for the amg exhuast with quad tips

Total: $5900 (not including tax)

I just checked these prices with my dealer two weeks ago.

The carlsson lip for the AMG front bumper is $750

I can get the entire AMG package without exhaust for 1,000.
I'm hoping to have the kit, exhaust, rims, and TVs all done by the end of January, I'll post pics when I'm done.

I know it would be more fun and popular to Pimp the ride" but I would agree with whoever said pay down the note. But then that's not what you asked.

Let me guess the kit falls off the truck on the way to your local dealer?
Wholesale on the front bumper (with fog lights) is a little over a grand, so if you can get the full kit, front and rear bumpers plus sideskirts for a $1000 then I'll buy 10 sets. Please tell us your source I am sure everyone on the W211 would be interested in buying as well.

Why would I tell you who my source is? And my source is not someone who works at a Benz dealer or anything like that...
