Nice. I just picked up a high mileage 2003 E500, haha. It was a grandma special. So I'm pretty new to this game as well. And also looking for parts.
I ordered some OEM parts from the mercedes classic store: https://classicparts.mbusa.com
Also, FCP Euro seems highly recommended as well. I am hoping they do a Black Friday sale as I'm planning on doing spark plugs, valve cover gaskets, motor mounts, and transmission fluid service.

I looked at FCP initially. I found the idler pulley for about 6 bucks and was concerned about the low price, figuring that it was a cheap part. I could be wrong, but for the interim, I went with a more expensive brand from RockAuto. That's not to say I won't use FCP in the near future. Thanks for your recommendation
