E350 4matic 2008 Electric Issue
So my car have been showing electric problems that are progressively getting worst
Started with flickering lights and then my rear light bulbs started showing faults on the dash even though they are working (break and tail lights, left indicator). These coincided with “Low voltage” on the radio screen whenever the car is off with ignition on position 1 or 2. I checked the voltage on the dash and goes as low as 9.8 when engine is off and 13.4 when on.
A while later the rear plate light and mid break light showed as a fault on the dash, while my rear boot stopped opening except by using the key.
Mechanics in my area are notoriously lazy and straight up ignorant when it come to diagnosis,, I serviced alternator by changing regulator and changed the battery with no success.
Anybody can point me to the next best thing to check or change? Many thanks folks

Check the entire harness that runs from inside the trunk to the trunk lid. Fairly common failure to have these wires break from repeated bending while opening/closing the trunk. Then re-charge and re-test the battery. 9.8 & 13.4 voltages are in the low side

9.8 volts.(subject to affordability proper test) tells you the battery is stuffed. Fix that first. The modules on these cars hate low voltage and are very sensitive to it. Until you do that, every test you do or part you change will be compromised and you might end up spending on parts that don't need to be changed and then end up with the same result.
You should be seeing 12.7v engine off and 13.7v+ engine on.
