Help with timing
Hi, new here, read some posts regarding the problem im experiencing, have not managed to find a solution.
Have a W211 E280 wagon that is getting the P0016 & 17 codes. Checked and rechecked the timing marks per the 305 degree mark and they all line up perfectly. Did an engine number check and apparently the engine is past the problem balance shaft ones. Replaced the sensors, magnets and timing chain tensioner to no avail.
Engine starts runs smooth, no abnormal noises.
This problem started after i pressure washed the engine so i could replace the tumble flaps in the intake. Have not done this job yet.
Any help would be appreciated.
