Android Head Unit - Harmon Optical Decoder Issue
Hoping someone can share some experience. I just installed the dudu7 android head unit with an optical decoder box. I'm having an issue when the ignition key is turned on and off the sub makes a huge thump.
Is the canbus box supposed to control the antenna amp?
the noise is so startling every time.

I know I'm late to this, but I think what they were trying to convey is that the fiber optic audio bus in W211s after about 2003-4 is a MOST bus, not a CAN bus.
While the CAN bus may be used for power-on-triggers or something, the audio information to your Harman-Kardon amp is in packets on the fiber optic MOST bus.
