W211 Wagon - Incorrect GPS location
I've been trying to solve an issue where the GPS in my Command is showing an incorrect location by a lot. So far I've replaced the FAKRA antenna in the left side of the trunk, connecting to the navigation unit, but with no success. I've seen other posts where people are cleaning/replacing the antenna splitter, but I can't find that splitter for the life of me. I've looked behind the left liner in the boot, took off the D-Pillar liner, but I just can't see the damn thing.
Has anyone else had this issue?
I don't use the Sat Nav at all, but I find this VERY annoying though.
2004 W211 E500 Wagon
Thanks!

Go here to download the WIS for your vehicle.

Be advised the zipped file can be large (>1.2GB) so you may need to use an aftermarket downloader (my version of Win11 would only download a max file size of 1.0GB).
In the sedan, located in trunk, left-hand side, hidden behind hinge and high up the side. Not easy to reach but can be done.
In the wagon should be a similar location. The WIS file will provide you the location of the splitter for the wagon.

and I couldn't find it.
Ideally I was looking for someone who did the job on a wagon, as it seems all the posts are for a sedan version.
Thanks anyway, I will look again!

Most recently, since I am not actively using the mobile phone antenna (because MB never shipped a bluetooth interface with the SIM Access profile in America, but don't get me started), I got a compatible active GPS antenna, tossed it under the rear tray at the window and connected directly to the GPS antenna lead from the splitter. That worked fine.
