HVAC starts with full heat.
2010 E with Nov 2009 build date. Last couple of years during Fall or Spring, my Auto HVAC starts with very hot air. Usually keep Auto temp on 72 and seldom change. If outside temp is lower than 70, it will come on with high heat and stay there unless I turn down to LO COOL for a few minutes. Then usually reverts to normal operation. Lately seems to be getting worse about returning to normal.
Have also noticed that last couple of years seems to blow a lot of cooler air out of upper AC vents, so I just close them down about 3/4's.
16 years old, but only 50,000 miles.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Other than taking it to dealership. Their cost would likely exceed market value of entire car.

Use your own scanner to self-diagnose the AAC Module sensors and temps.
