Is this a good deal to lease a E320?
Hi,
I am thinking about either to get a E320 or ML350. And MB offering a lease special for 05 E320 for $529/month + tax with around $3000 driver off for 39months.
Is it consider a super good deal? Becasue this special end 1/3/05 (very soon) and i don't want to miss the deal if it is super good deal. I read the details and it is based on $48,500 after $3000 discount from MSRP.
I live in Bay Area, CA. I am open to purchase or lease. How much discount i can expect if i go with purchase?
Thanks.

My only advice is on which car to buy or lease. I would not get the ML since it will be outdated in a few months when the new Body style comes out. The E still is considered a relatively new model car and it will remain the same for as long as your lease lasts (probably). I also think that if you don't need the SUV space, the E is a much more advanced car.
This is just my opinion. I have never leased a car, so I can not advise you on this. As per other negotiations, I am of the opinion that you can always ask, all they can ever say is no.

2015 ML 350
The current ML is a dinosaur compared to the Current E and the incoming ML! OLD, OLD, OLD technology, interior, radio, & ride. If you're gonna do this lease now, do the E. It is a nice new design that turns heads of all ages & is a pleasure to drive!!!

You should be able to get $6500 off MSRP
In So Cal at least. Maybe around $5000 off MSRP in the bay area - I'd go for $6000.
Deals are ALWAYS in the favor of the dealer/manufacturer with some wiggle room. The $3000 still allows them a lot of profit - get it down. This car is in run out mode.
Also consider this - how much will the E320 be worth with the 7 speed 24 valve E350 out?

Tell them you'll take it with zero down (except maybe first payment and license/registration) and $500/mo with 12K mile/year. Be firm and if they give you any slack just politely let tell them that you will be going over to XYZ dealership across town.
Of course you'll want to get somewhat friendly with a salesperson first so they'll want to even attempt to haggle with their managers for you.
Make sure you're firm! If they come back with $515/mo, $1000 down and 10K miles per year tell them NO DEAL.

ML-350, Maserati Quattroporte
Come on guys, unless I'm missing something this seems like a great deal. Yes the money factor etc. helps but he gave us his bottom line of $529 a month with 3000 down. This is a w211 forum so cough it up for us_matrix. Does anyone else out there have a similar lease on their car? I can tell you I paid more for my wife's E320 wagon in 2000. I pay more for her XC-90 now. RJC is probably right that they are cleaning house for the E350 but it still sounds great. I'd go for it but always cover your bases and at least go for it with one more dealer since you have a great starting point.

Just remember that whatever "deal" they offer can always be worked even more. Those deals still make them some money so if they are willing to let one go to drive their sales numbers you can get lucky and walk out with an even better deal.

Thanks guys. Well i just returned from MB. I did not talk much for the lease instead i was talking about the purchase. He gave me 6K off for a 05 E320 and what do you guys think about that? Is this a really good deal or can be better? I am open to lease or purcahse if they can give me a good deal
