Question on speed/noise sensitive volume
When I first received the car I was aware of the speed/noise sensitive volume control of the HK Logic 7 command audio system. Neat! Liked it. But after the dealer updated the audio system programming once or twice, and replaced the VCM once or twice to make the v60 phone system sound decent, I seem to have lost the automatic volume control. Seems to remain at the same volume whether driving at 60+ mph or down to a stop. I thought I read that this feature was capable of being enabled or disabled by the dealer through a computer hook-up, but the dealer says no.
How can I figure out for sure whether this system is working or not? And if not, what can be done to get it working again?

I have a 05' W211, mine was never enabled. I like the feature and will have them set it when I take it in for its 1000 mile check-up. Wondering also what the recommended adjustment is?

My auto volume increase mysteriously disappeared after first few thousand miles. After a recent service and my request for all new software updates to command, it was back.

Just picked up my car. Tech said he set the sensitivity adjustment to 9 dBs. I haven't had enough time with it to hear the result. Will let you guys know when I do. BTW, I was told that folks without HK Logic 7 (premium sound) have speed sensitive auto volume, while those with Logic 7 have noise sensitive auto volume. I'm told it says this in the owners manual somewhere.
