This is just my opinion of course, but unless the girl is really comfortable behind the wheel of a car this might be too much car for her. I dont even see to many women driving E500'S, I mean even my girlfriend thinks that my car is too big to handle. Again this is just my opinion, because I am sure that there are women out there that are probably better drivers than I am, but not for the most part.

Is there a reason that you would want a C320 over an E55? What happened to a E500 or E320? Dont waste your time on a C class. They have gotten a .lot better, but not close to the E. If you have a genuine appreciation for cars, driving, and power, go with an E500. Maybe even a CLK500. I have a lady friend who drives a W210 E55 and plans to make over 500 hp with it, but shes a power freek

Just need to sort out your priorities.

There is another girl that has an E500 in here and she loves her car (her husband has an E320). I can't remember their names but they are happy.

Well I am sure that if you are here on this board that you are well capable of handling that car. Its an awsome automobile..

Welcome Maria! You need to consider what is important to you. Here are some things to get you started.
- What general size of a car do you want? The E class is a little bigger than a honda accord so it is very manageable. It also has enough room to comfortably fit four where the C it will be tight.
- How much power do you want? The E55 is the supercharged rocket that has more power than most would need. The E320 V6 is plenty for most but if that is not enough than the E500 V8 should be more than enough.
- How much do you want to spend? The E320 will be in the lower to mid 50's, E500 in the upper 50's or lower 60's and the E55 will be around 80 (all depending on how you build them) - all in US Dollars.
- What features are important to you? The C class has some neat features but doesn't offer features that can be found on the E. The C is simply an entry level mercedes much like the Civic is to Honda.
- What car physically attracts you more?

There are plenty more things to consider but this should put you in the right direction... Let us know how it goes!

I dont think she lives in the states - prices are rediculous most other places. but yea I agree, those are pretty common sense type of questions... how does one not know these things?

Wow, an E55 or a C320? Those are two very distinctly different cars. If you're looking for something to even consider comparing to the E55 but maybe want something smaller you should probably consider the C55 or even the CLK55 if a coupe isn't out of the question.

E55 (for sale if the right offer comes along)...too many others to list
Maria,

I am a female that drives an E55. I love my car and love the power! I purchased the car for the HP. It's plush interior and comfort make it a good daily driver car. You are welcome to PM me with any questions.

Power hungry? Haha :p

Yea I agree with you 100%. My girlfriend definetly thinks the e50 is a little much even for her. While I love the fact the I can pass just about anyone and take off at any second this is something that most women will just not do. There are some girls who enjoy a powerful car, just not too many I know.

Alright boys.. I tried to keep my mouth shut as long as possible, but take a look at these stats. I don't think an E55 is too much car for most women, it's a matter of hobby and choice. It's obvious that woman can drive almost any car! These stats are from the NHTSA website. Thank goodness for those lower insurance rates!

Data was clearly collected by a female.. bias. I don't buy it.

Aren't you that girl that has an E320 diesel rebadged as an E55?

I like how as you approach the 70s, the fatality rate increases..

Well, if you had the choice, you should opt for the E55. The E55 is the ulitmate luxury sport sedan. All the refinements of a mercedes luxury sedan, yet all the power to scare a porsche. The E55 will run you upwards of $80,000 +. So if money is no issue you will be happier in the long run with the E55.

However, you can also consider you other options. Possibly an E500 or E320 with the AMG sport package. This will give you the look of an E55 but without the supercharged, 469 horsepower

Whatever you decide, don't choose a C class over and E

I say go for it if you want and like the power. Definitely does not matter whether you are a man or a woman! (not a good match for a teen or possibly a senior, maybe!)

I think you should consider S500 or S600. These cars are much more suitable for girls. Do not forget to buy new outfit matching color of your car.
