I have an AMG sport package and same fogs as e55.
Does anyone know how if the size is still H11?

H11 Hoen 55W xenonmatch bulb?

What is the procedure for swapping out fog light bulbs? Can someone please describe the steps?

Thanks.

I think they look great. What a difference. But when I'm driving, I can't see my lights. And when I'm not driving, I keep them off.

Did we ever find out the answer if the 19169 was indeed the bulb number, or was it the "8" at the end? I'd like to order ASAP.

Thank you,

Nick

PIAA 19169 or 19168???

I've had a hard time trying to find the PIAA #19169 which was recommended on a a couple of threads and ended up going with the 19168 which I found more readily available and since people have said that the 19172 were too blue. The 19168 were a great improvement, but I'm still curious if I got the right bulbs.

If not, can someone post a link to where they got their 19169 bulbs? Thanks...

Looks good!!

Question: Why did you go with the Heon H11 instead of PIAA's H11 Extreme White plus? I would like to upgrade my fogs, so I'm just curious why Hoen for the fogs and PIAAs for the rest...

Based on this thread, I went ahead and upgraded my wedge bulbs with the PIAA 169's They look very good...

However, when I put in the PIAA Xtreme White Plus (H7) they were noticeably yellower than my HID (not to say they were yellow, just no white blue like the HID)...?

So my question is this, the PIAA Xtreme White Plus are rated at 4000K, isn't my HID 6000K? or 4300K?

I will probably try the HOEN H7, but wanted to get everyones option on why the PIAA don't match, they were only marginally better then the stock H7

The PIAA Xtreme White Plus are rated at 4000K and your HID is 4300K. Go with the HOEN H7.

I had the hoen xenon match headlight bulbs until I upgraded to xenon's. I gave them to my mom, and she(and i) loves them. BTW, I got the hoen fogs too. worth the money.

Thanks RodE350, but isnt the Hoen H7 also 4000K?

Xenonmatch Factory Wattage

Höen xenonmatch bulbs are optimized to match the color of OEM HID low beams or Höen xenonmatch plus and Titanium bulbs. The xenonmatch line is a true 4,000k bright white lamp that replaces the factory 'yellowish' bulbs as seen in the image above. All xenonmatch bulbs operates at vehicle manufacturer suggested wattages and are plug and play, easy to install in minutes.

So wont they be the same color as the PIAA?
