Amazing Repair
Had some very nasty curbside wheel chip on my 18' AMG, right rear (usually). Was so mad thinking that I had to take the wheel out, put in the spare and lug it to a wheel shop for repair.
Nevermind that thought, I contacted Velvet Touch a mobile wheel repair service, Nathan the owner came out and "Voila" within 1 hour my wheel looked like it had never been scratched. He didn't even have to remove the wheel. Simply amazing!
I am stoked, and it only costs $125.00. Velvet Touch is our of San Diego County. Let me know if any of you guys need his service. Highly recommend it.

Are they franchised or have locations in other markets? I am in Atlanta and I have the AMG style wheels with what looks like a coating peeling off the wheels. Any thoughts on feasibility to repair or replace?

I don't think it's a franchise, however you could contact Nathana and inquire about it. I found his service using a general internet search for wheel repair or wheel repairs in San Diego County. Maybe u should try this approach or did u?
As far as the coating peeling off, how long have you had the wheel? Your best bet is just to contact Nathan to see if he can give you some suggestions. Sorry, couldn't help you any further.

Most dealerships have a mobile wheel guy/shop who will come out and touch up wheels and fix minor repairs while on the car and can even straighten out bent wheels if you leave it with them over a few days.
