Performance Mods

I was just curios to hear if any of you guys have made any engine mods, and if so what kind of gains are you guys seeing out of your cars.

I have a 320 CDI and I have mounted the Carlsson C-Tronic box... My car went from 204bhp to 240bhp and from 500nm to 580nm. And what a huge difference...

I am extremely satisfied with the box and the power my car has received from it

Trin,
How much was the box? Was it hard to install? More important will installing the box have a negative impact on the engine or warranty? Thanks

E200 Kompressor (sold 2008), BMW 7 series (2009), now waiting for the E63
I was eyeing the Kleemann K-box for the Kompressor series (300Nm of torque, 210bhp, up from 240Nm and 163 respectively) but I found out that it would void the car's warranty, and "she who must be obeyed" quickly put her foot down on that idea...

Well... In Denmark the C-Tronic box from Carlsson is about $ 1.850 ...

Since the Mercedes dealerships actually sells the box there is absolutely no problems with the warranty.

The install was very easy and there is even a installation manual that comes with the box. Took my Mercedes mechanic about 30 minutes to install and after watching him I believe I could have done the job myself (I am no technical genius).

The best thing is that the box only kicks in once the engine temp has reached 60 degrees. Which makes it very safe and kind to the engine.

My car is remodded completely by Kleemann and the only reason I didn't use their performance mods was the warranty-issue.

I can only recommend the Carlsson box... Absolutely amazing!

Too bad there is no gas powered counterpart. Especially for that price.
